If you are a romantic person and look for a place of your kind, then Paris is undoubtedly the best choice. The city of lights as they call it, Paris is one of those few cities in the world that possess a rich history, present and future. The city being a dream come true for a lover of art, is one of the most sought after cities by the people all over the globe. Though beautiful, one cannot deny the fact that it is equally expensive. Laden with beauty from all perspectives, the city is filled with riches.

The monuments and the museums are an evidence for the glorious history of the magic city. In the following sections, some of the best spots in Paris are talked about. Just like how Eiffel Tower has made a place in the minds of the people of the world, one would be surprised to know that most places in Paris are equally beautiful.

1. The Louvre One rightly said that no matter how much time is spent at the Louvre, it is still less to get the complete taste of its immense beauty. The masterpiece of Leonardo Da Vinci, 'Monalisa' forming the major attraction, many more beautiful works are found here.

2. Eiffel Tower The beautiful sights from the top of the tower work as a magnet to thousands of tourists from all over the world. The signs at the top of the tower pointing to the various cities of the world are so realistic that they can be visualized on a summer day with a clear sky. Friday night is the time most tourists prefer.

3. Arche de Triomphe The site of France's tomb of the Unknown Soldier, this monument was built by Napoleon in 1806, to honor his victories. Germans also associated themselves with the place during the Second World War. This location is one of the most famous streets of France.

4. The Seine. Being the only alive witness of the glorious history of the magic city, the river has on its banks the best architectural works, like the Place de la Concorde and the Petit Palais. The ride in the glass windowed boats on the Seine enables one to enjoy the exquisite beauty of the city.

5. Musee de Orsay The place which at present is a museum, used to be a railway station in the past. The artworks from 1848 to 1914 constitute the major part of the museum. Here, one more place worth a visit is the museum caf located right behind the station.

6. Basilica de Sacre Coeur Designed by Paul Abadie, this cathedral was built between 1887 and 1914.It was constructed as a tribute to the Franco-Prussian war of 1870.Constructed in Byzantine style and employing the best mosaic work within, this stands to be an unusual church. The hilltop location adds to its beauty.
